What is Fixr?

Fixr is a home improvement, remodeling and maintenance services marketplace. At Fixr, homeowners post what they need done, where and when. Home improvement contractors and service providers submit public estimates to compete for the job.

When a professional bids for a job, Fixr alerts all other professionals so that they can adjusts their bids to win the job.

How does it work for Job Posters?

All you need to do is fill out a simple form describing your need (e.g paint two rooms) and the location in which the job is to be completed. Optionally you can include additional information such as budget or pictures. You will receive bids from service providers who are interested in performing the job. Based on their bids, questions and answers, and reviews you will be able to choose the service provider that best suits your needs. You may also contact service providers and request additional information.

• More choices at a price that's right for you. Let service providers compete for your business. You will receive a variety of bids from different professionals at different price levels, service levels and reputations. You then choose the best one for the job you need done.

How does it work for Service Providers?

Fixr provides free leads for qualified professionals (a company or an individual). You simply register and select your area of expertise (e.g painting, plumbing, cooking) and location. You can subscribe to our alert system and we'll send you emails everytime a job is posted that matches your search criteria. You may bid on jobs based on the poster's description or ask further questions through our Q&A in order to adjust your bid accordingly. You may also request an appointment with the job poster to see the job and location prior to submitting your bid.

Benefits for Service Providers

• Free leads as opposed to other online lead generation services that charge you regardless of whether you get awarded the business or not. Fixr does not charge you for potential business.

• Get notified. Whether it be by SMS (coming soon), email or fax Fixr will alert you whenever there is a job posting that matches your search criteria.
