Hello,

My name is Cindy and I live in Salem, MA. I am moving into a new apartment and I was looking for some assistance with a "handy man" issue. I am moving into a 2 bedroom apartment. There are 3 large rooms. Two of these rooms have doors on them and one doesn't. We have measured the doors and they are all the same size. I would like to take one of the doors off of one of the rooms that have a door and put it on the room that does not. You can actually see where the hinges were placed before. It almost looks like the put some type of "putty" over the holes in the frame where the hinges used to be and then painted over it.

I was hoping that perhaps I could get someone in to look at it and give an estimate on what this would cost.

Hi Brian,

No. All I want to do is take one door off of one doorway and put it on the doorway that doesn't have a door in the apartment. Essentially, I will be using the designated living room as my bedroom and I need to put a door up. So I want to take a door off of one of the smaller bedrooms. No materials. Just moving a door.
