Description
I'm currently in the United States on business. Let's just call it a diplomatic mission as part of Her Majesty's Secret Service, and I am in need of a few renovations to a bedroom within the flat I have been assigned.
It must conform to the following specifications:
Henchman Resistant: Experience building Panic Rooms preferred. After all, there is nothing worse than having an intimate evening ruined by the unexpected and unwelcome interruption by say, a giant man with metal teeth or a bowler hat tossing assailant. My expectation is that when the room is locked down, it should provide at least a substantial delay in entry. No system is completely foolproof, and those who would seek to enter the room after it was sealed would likely be both well-financed and likely in possession of above average strength or ingenuity. The room should also be largely soundproof so as not to disturb the neighbors as both lovemaking and gunplay are sometimes very loud.
Secret Compartments: While the goal is for the bedroom to look as if it was a completely normal sleeping area, though stylish in its appearance, it should also have under the surface a number of hidden compartments which can be used for such mundane things as weaponry, biometric safes, any number of gadgets the entire John Barry Orchestra and a large flatscreen capable of displaying 3 participants in a teleconference.
Escape Route: preferably to the adjacent parking garage or out into the park across the street. We will not have the proper permits for such activities, so this particular part of the project will have to be done covertly. A bonus will be paid if 5-7 seconds after opening, there was a subtle music cue, allowing me to say something witty and then have those few notes add emphasis and humor to said witticism.
Money is no object as the Government of the United Kingdom is willing to pay whatever is necessary to see that this work is completed in both a speedy and confidential matter. The Government of the United Kingdom will also be providing some of the materials which you will need to do your job so a contractor who is familiar with the installation and deployment of cutting edge electronic security devices and offensive weaponry would again be preferred. If you are not familiar with this kind of work, an operative of the Q Branch will be dispatched to the site to provide further information. All documentation will be For Your Eyes Only, and confidentiality will need to be maintained throughout.
Employment is contingent on a background check and a thorough interview by a Mr. Felix Leiter. Discretion is assured.
