  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
  • Question: How fast can you get me or my loved one out jail?

Answer: This varies greatly on the time of day, day of week, jail location and situation, etc., but generally speaking, most city or municipal jail releases take 1/2 hour or less. County jails and justice centers can take a bit longer. The City of Saint Louis Justice Center clearly posts a sign claiming that all releases will take a minimum of 4 hours. Similarly, the Saint Louis County Justice Centers posts that releases will take a minimum of 2 hours.

Question: What is the purpose of a bail bond?

Answer: A bail bond serves as a guarantee that the arrested person will return to all his or her court dates. The bond remains active and in good standing as along as the arrested person attends all their court dates and follows the court's instructions. Only if the arrested person fails to appear in court or fails to follow any court instructions is the bond at risk of loss, revocation, or forfeiture.

Question: Why should I use a bail bondsman?

Answer: A bail bondsman will help facilitate the posting of the bond at a reduced rate, the timely release of the defendant, and be available to assist you during the entire legal process. A bail bondsman also serves to help guarantee the cash and monitor the arrested person, to help logistically in out-of-state and/or long distance cases, and to assist if you do not have the full cash amount.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
  • We post a surety bond with the court for the full bond amount. For this service we charge a percentage fee. Generally, we charge a standard 10% fee, but this does vary with the bond amount. We're sure you can understand that we have minimum costs associated with writing any bond, no matter the amount, so it would not be economically feasible to charge only $25.00 on a $250.00 bond or $50.00 for a $500.00 bond. etc. Certain bonds require a higher percentage fee. Please call to discuss your individual bond fees. Once the bond fees and any associated jail processing fees are paid, there will be no more money due as long as the arrested person meets their responsibilities and does not cause the bond to forfeit or cause risk of bond forfeiture.

  • First and foremost, the cosigner must assist in making sure the arrested person attends all their court dates and follows any instructions the court may give. Cosigner do not have to appear in court with the arrested person. The cosigner needs to assist the bondsman in maintaining contact with the arrested person, and serves as a secondary point of contact between the bondsman and the arrested person. If the bond is at risk of revocation or forfeiture, the cosigner must assist the bondsman in correcting the situation, or the cosigner will be at risk of bearing the financial loss of the total bond amount.
