ADJ Floor Covering is a family-owned and operated father-and-son business. We have over 30 years experience in all types of flooring.
We do residential and commercial floors. We install wood, vinyl, tile, laminate, carpet, baseboards, and much more.

- Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
The most recent project that we are proud of in the last 12 months was a project for a residential customer. The customer was very pleased with our work and our ability to work around their schedule in order to make the project less stressful. We installed new wood floors throughout and maintained a safe, clean environment. The customer informed us that they would be more than happy to their friends and family.
- What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
For the past 13 years we have been a licensed and insured flooring contractor. We have worked with reputable companies such as PDC contracting, Newport Floor covering, Lee Armstrong Flooring, and Carpet 4u.
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
I would recommend that customers not hire a company who promises the lowest price. A lot of these companies will give great prices, however they do not provide the quality installations that we possess. Hiring a cheap company usually indicates poor craftsmanship and will cost the customer thousands of dollars in repairs.
- What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
I wish customers knew that purchasing cheap materials will not increase the value of their home. I wish customers knew that hiring unqualified individuals could potentially cause major damage and cost them thousands of dollars in repairs. The customers should know that cutting costs on home improvements will never be considered an improvement it will be only depreciate their home.

Our company consists of just two employees. We are father and son. We both estimate projects, sell products, and install flooring. When you hire us we will be showing up on the job site. We do not hire a bunch of guys off the streets. When you hire Andrew and Daniel from ADJ floor covering you get Andrew and Daniel.
- What types of jobs are the most common?
The most common types of jobs are water damaged bathrooms. Bathrooms are the rooms that take the most beating. Water gets trapped between the flooring and the sub floor causing structural problems and lifting of the flooring. Mold is also common in these locations and requires immediate attention.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
The best question to ask is if the company is licensed and insured. Another question could be to ask if the company has any references to support the reputation of the company. Additionally, you can ask how many years experience does the company have.
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
We specialize in the installation of hard surface flooring. Some of the floors we install include wood, vinyl, tile, ceramic, carpet, laminate, and much more.
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
We offer a one year labor warranty on all our jobs. Any customer who has issues with the labor can call us directly to have the issue resolved as long as it is within the one year period.
- What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
Its good to have a date picked out for your project. Its good to have a product and color in mind. Its good to have researched about the product and quality of flooring you have decided to purchase. Its good to know how to look up a contractor license to see if the license is active.

We work with Armstrong, Mowhawk, Pergo, Amtico, congoleum, taylor, burke, johnsonite, mannington, toli, and many more.
- How did you get started?
The company was started by a man named Andrew Montoya. He started this company after completing 20 years in the flooring union. He started this company with his son, Daniel Montoya and they have been a strong team since September 2000.
- How many projects do you average in a year?
We average 50 projects per year. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service and put forth exceptional craftsmanship on every job, regardless of its size.
- What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
The most frequent questions are based on how cheap they can get the product and how long will it take. Unfortunately most customers don't consider that a cheap and quick installation will result in a poor final product. So we advise them that we take our time to find quality products and provide quality work. We are proud of what we do and we want to walk away knowing that the customer will be happy and satisfied.
