National Association of the Remodeling Industry
Our Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer received the Master Certified Remodeler Designation in April 2015. This is the highest designation you can receive through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
Possibly upgrade as opposed to a full remodel. Many time, cleaning up existing cabinetry, changing out the hardware, adding lighting where needed and fresh paint can make a world of difference.
If they have experience, client references, appropriate licensing and insurance. Ask if the professional has any designations in the industry such as certifications in kitchens, baths and remodeling in general. Ask to see their license and insurance certificate. Be sure they are licensed in your state. Ask if they are responsible for permit pulling - very important! Do not ever have a contractor tell you that you as the homeowner should pull the permit for the work - always have the contractor, that way they are fully responsible for the work being done!
One-two year workmanship warranty. We also offer minor repair work at no charge in the areas we worked in after the warranty period is over. We like to build relationships with our clients and understand that things happen even long after the work is done.
