Testimonials

Todd was extremely helpful in developing me as a guitar player. I had no serious ambitions but I did want to be able to casually have fun -- Todd made sure I was doing things properly and he was very patient. I worked with Todd for about a year and I have a great deal more confidence when jamming with friends. He is completely worth the time and money.

Oh... he's really funny too =)

I've had guitar teachers in the past who were basically just guys who knew how to play guitar well and thought that meant they can teach it. But one can tell by the way that Todd teaches that he is a highly qualified and formally trained music professional. He really knows how to make learning music fun and easy, and he knows his stuff! I would recommend Todd to anyone not only just for learning to play the guitar, but also for learning music theory.

This guy was pretty cool. As a teacher, he was able to help me remember certain scales i wasn't able to memorize properly before. As a person, it was pretty cool to hang out with him after the class was over; to have a cool drink in your hand and compare guitar tones. I recommend him to anyone who wants to learn at any pace they desire.

I started lessons only knowing a few chords and a handful of songs. Todd assessed my skill and created a lesson plan suited to my goals. In our first lesson, he found the places I needed the most work and we dove right in. He's one of the most patient people I know, which is key for someone who has to sit through me practicing my scales at 40bpm. Yikes!

All in all, he's a great teacher. It's always nice to get someone who has been trained in music ed. and knows what they're doing! Not to mention, he's a practicing musician! With great rates!! Can't get any better!
