About Badia Creations

We are a new and upcoming graphic design business. We create anything from custom logo design, brochures, flyers, business cards, invitations, posters, and much more.

We provide service to ALL areas. Our work is strictly design, we DO NOT physically print anything for the customer. We create the design and the customer receives the digital file in return.

We may provide suggestions as to where you may print your file (depending on location). Our style is modern and hip. We provide all the skill sets and tools to create a design tailored to your needs.

We offer a flat rate for the design with unlimited amounts of proofs. We do not charge extra to resend a design. Our priority is your satisfaction! We are friendly and dedicated to our customers, so give us a try!

Questions and answers

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
  • I cannot say I have one specific project that I am most proud of. The fact that I had the courage to start a business of my own, however, is something I am extremely proud of. It takes a lot of hard work and a lot of sacrifice. I gave up a lot of business in order to build my professional portfolio, but it was worth it.

  • How did you get started?
  • I got started shortly after I graduated from college. I had already been working for a company creating their catalog, designing product flyers, trade show brochures and much more.

I had always known that I wanted to start my own business. Every chance I had, I would use to create my own invitations, greeting cards, and more. In order to build my portfolio I started to offer my services for free.

In exchange I would be able to keep a sample of the finished design in my portfolio. By doing this I was able to collect a large variety of different designs and I got to experience creating different designs for many different industries, so that was cool!

  • What types of jobs are the most common?
  • I have found, in my experience anyway, custom logo designs to be the most common. The second would be product flyers. The newest project (in terms of newest product to create) at this moment is a truck wrap.

Basically, it is the design that you would find on a commercial truck advertising their business. I am currently working on a project like this and it is quite different. The truck is 20 feet in length so it is a much larger space to work with than I am used to, but I like a challenge.

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
  • After the work has finished we offer discounts for customers who come back in need of another custom design. We also follow-up with our customers after each job to make sure that the files worked correctly and that they are happy with the final results.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
  • I wish customers know how tedious this work can be. Aside from my job being very subjective, it's hard work that is very time-consuming.

I may know the latest trends, best color schemes, etc., but at the end of the day it's about what the customer wants and likes. The creative process includes a lot of back and forth communication in order to reach the final concept.

A lot of patience is necessary and confidence as well. There is a lot of competition out there so you have to find a way to make yourself known.

  • What brands or products do you work with?
  • I work on a MacBook Pro. My life lives on this computer. I use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) to create all of my designs. For vector images I often go to istock.com for photographs. I often use the internet for reference and inspiration.

  • What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
  • Information a customer should have ready is an initial idea. Thats really all you need. As long as you have that idea, I can do the rest. It helps if the customer has references for the artist to look at, such as images of examples of certain color schemes they would like or overall layout they would like to incorporate into their custom design. The more specific ideas they have the easier it is for the designer to create exactly what the customer is looking for.

  • Tell us something customers may not know about you.
  • Ever since I was a little girl, every time my parents would take me to see an animated film I would tell my mom "you'll see, someday my name will be up on the credits". It is still a dream I have today. Someday, I would like to collaborate with other artists and be apart of an animated production team.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
  • My one time flat rate is a great incentive for customers looking to save money! It is a low rate and I can guarantee its worth!

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
  • I usually get the same questions and normally give the same answer:

Q: Can you do this? Can you create that?

    A: Absolutely!

I can design just about anything you can imagine. So if you can think it up, I can create it for you!

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
  • A customer should first ask what the turnaround time is. Meaning how long is a project going to take. Another good question to ask would be pricing. For example, many professionals in my trade charge by the hour.

We, however, charge a FLAT rate and allow unlimited amounts of proofs. Therefore, we work with the customer diligently until they are 100% satisfied with their final design. And they DON'T get charged extra for that!!

  • What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
  • I am currently working towards becoming an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE). Adobe certification is an industry standard of excellence and it's the absolute best way to communicate my proficiency in leading products from Adobe.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?
  • I only started my business a few months ago, but I would say I work on about 4-5 projects at a time. I don't like to take more than that at once. I rather give my all on those few projects and focus on customer service and creating a great design than filling myself up with jobs and creating half fast designs, all just to collect money at the end. It does not work like that.

A very important part of this business is building clientele, loyal clientele, that will not hesitate in calling you again when they have another project.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
  • We are a creative service. We create custom logo designs, brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, stationary, invitations, and so much more. Anything that can be created on a computer within a design program, we can make it.
