I am not a gimmick.
I am not a quick fix.

Questions and answers
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
The work is never finished. Our goals and our approaches to the goals change but even maintenance takes work. I am available for my clients before they commit to train with me, during, and after. Whenever and wherever they need me.
- What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
I am certified by the American Council on Exercise and the American College of Sports Medicine and maintain affiliation with IDEA, Wellcoaches, ACSM and Exercise is Medicine, American RedCross, and 8 Weeks to Wellness.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
I would want to know what makes your trainer qualified to train you? Character, knowledge, experience, personal stories all help trainers to develop their styles. Is your trainer capable of assisting you in your journey?
- What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
All trainers are not created equally. Don't seek out a trainer by the latest groupon or living social deal.
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
I focus on assisting my clients in making their goals clear and attainable; giving them the leverage necessary to attain them; and coaching them using a sound plan that meets them where they are and delivers them to their goal. Most of the clients I work with are striving for weight loss or improved body composition. Everyone just wants to feel better.
- How many projects do you average in a year?
I actively maintain about 20-30 client hours per week. Some people see me 1 time per week while others see me as much as 6 hours per week.
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
Small group training or Wellness coaching via the telephone. The former allows you to share the cost of my service with others while the latter costs less because I don't have to travel to be present for a typical 1 hour session. As well, Wellness coaching meets 1 time per week for 30 minutes as opposed to multiple hours per week.
- What brands or products do you work with?
I represent Balance Fitness in all that I do. In an effort to serve my clients nutritional needs better I have added Juice Plus+ to my offerings. To date it is the only company that has been able to produce independent research that proves it does good things for my clients.
- How did you get started?
I joined the Marines in 1992 and while I was awaiting my departure for Bootcamp, I was tasked by my recruiter to help another young man get in shape enough to enlist. He was officially my first client. Since then I have worked as a Marine maintaining height, weight, and performance standards for active duty Marines as well as civilians since I left the service.
