  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
  • All follow-ups, workmanship and materials are 100% guaranteed. Because of our commitment to service, many of our customers become repeat client for their future remodeling needs. This is what is known as a "win- win" situation, for both the homeowner, and us, the contractor.

  • What types of jobs are the most common?
  • In almost 30 years experience, we don't consider any project as common. Although the most often requested projects are kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, basement finishing, complete additions, garages, decks, driveways, replacement windows and doors.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?
  • We average 30 -40 projects per year. Of course, that depends on various things like weather, size and quantity of projects. For example, we can build 4-5 decks, in the same amount of time as a garage.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
  • Are they licensed?

    Are they Insured?

Do they belong to the Better Business Bureau?

    Are they a veteran-wwned Business?

Do they provide free estimates in writing?

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
  • We would like all our customers to know that, while they might need a remodel project done to their home, it is not always necessary for them to have a 100% finished product in mind. An experienced contractor will accommodate his customers' wishes, but he may also include suggestions for ease of traffic patterns, ways to save money on materials, introduce them to new materials available, and quite often, offer variations of what a homeowner has in mind.

  • What brands or products do you work with?
  • We work with standard type materials, as well as green or recycled products where applicable and available. We also use Energy-Star rated building products such as windows, doors, appliances, insulation and more as they conserve energy costs for the homeowner, and also reduce the carbon footprint to the environment.

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
  • 1). What is your experience?

We have been in business since 1985

2). When can you start and finish the project?

We provide all estimates in writing and by state law, estimates must include (among other things) a beginning date, as well as, a completion date.

3). How much will the project cost?

In addition to #2, price is required in all estimates, as well as payment and deposit terms.

4). Are you licensed and insured?

We are fully insured with 2 State Certifications.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
  • One of the best ways for a homeowner to save money is to find the right contractor. A contractor who submits a comprehensive, thorough estimate will help any homeowner stay within a pre-determined budget.

A detailed estimate will reduce cost "over-runs". Also, a contractor who outlines a detailed proposal will not omit certain parts of a project necessary for completion.

  • Tell us something customers may not know about you.
  • That we are a locally owned and operated member of the Fox Valley community. We have assisted in projects with Habitat for Humanity, donate to local animal shelters and often add "extras" in a project, at no cost, especially when a homeowner is trying to "stretch" a budget.

  • What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
  • Obviously, a homeowner should realize that the more information they can offer a contractor, the lesser the confusion will be. Especially when a contractor does show up for an estimate.

Also, any blueprints, or even homeowner sketches can be very helpful in conveying the desired outcome of any project to a professional remodeling contractor.

  • How did you get started?
  • I started out with my dad, in 6th grade, fixing up re-sale homes. He would buy a house which needed repairs, and we would get it "market-ready". I started out pulling weeds, doing yard-work, ripping out carpet, drapes, etc. That progressed into painting, cleaning, and eventually learning how to repair drywall, window screens, etc.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
  • Recently, we rebuilt a brick & block front entryway, at a residence in Neenah. The original installer did not start with a footing. The retaining wall, and brick paver landing collapsed, over time, simply because of an improper site preparation. We dismantled the block and brick, excavated a 4' deep frost wall, poured the concrete footing and re-assembled the entryway, re-using the existing materials, saving the homeowner approx. $2,000.00 in materials.
