• An inexpensive way to change the look of a room is by painting...Simply adding color to any space, Living Room, Dining Room, Den, Kitchen,Bedrooms...even change up your Laundry Room & paint it bright red!!! Make it fun.

• Betsy Lynn Abend holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Environmental Design from the acclaimed Parsons School of Design in New York City.

  Ms. Abend is professionally state certified with the California Council for Interior Design Certification, CCIDC, and is licensed with the state of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation as an Interior Designer.

  Ms. Abend is currently acquiring her interior design licensed in the state of New York.

• Your project will be guided by the firm’s creative process and expert collaboration with the best architects, general contractors, electricians, plumbers, mechanical engineers, carpenters, flooring installers, painters, and audio-visual specialist’s.

• What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
A.

• How long will it take to complete the project?

  Most clients are surprised when I give them a completion date. It always takes longer than they anticipated. Furniture deliveries can take between 12 to 16 weeks. Carpet installations can be a few weeks of the carpet is in stock. Window treatments can take 4 to 6 weeks. It all depends on availability of the items being purchased.

• The renovation of Kitchen's and Bathroom's are areas of a home that should always look "updated and current" with the times. When renovated, these rooms will always give the homeowner a full return on their investment for resale value.

  Ms. Abend’s career has taken her from New York City to San Francisco & San Diego, California, Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, Scottsdale, Arizona, and the Miami Beach, Florida markets. As Project Designer on numerous teams culminating in her role as owner of her own firm, Ms. Abend specializes in and has successfully completed design interiors for both international clients for their high end residences and nationally trend setting hotels.

  Ms. Abend chameleons her style to fit your needs whether it be transitional, traditional, or contemporary. Betsy Lynn Interior Design is a full service interior design firm specializing in residential, hospitality, and restaurant design. In addition to creating a design concept for any one client, the firm is expert on the coordination, implementation, and installation of FF&E design packages. Her firm has also been responsible for the archiving and cataloging the inventory of historic properties for adaptive reuse. These skills provide a critical link between the design and purchasing of a project allowing for the integrity of the design to remain intact enabling the clients’ vision to be fully realized.

• MIAMI BEACH PENTHOUSE

  Completed 2012

  The precise balance of fabrics and colors complimented by meticulous detailing make this penthouse a showcase of elegant glamour.

  All of the custom millwork and cabinetry is fabricated in a rare white bleached Anigre wood.

  Glittering dining room walls, Swarovski crystal hardware, blueberry color mohair fabric, custom Venetian glass and quartz bead chandeliers depict the essence of chic modern living.
