  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • We specialize in many different areas of the construction business. That includes home renovations, an addition to your home or a custom home build.

    We will coordinate everything that needs to get done so your experience is as stress-free as possible!

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

  • When looking to save money, you need to look at the design of your project. I do not recommend using sub-par products because you will only waste your money.

    If your design is a bit more simple, that will save on material and labor. If you want more detail but are on the edge of affording that plan, then you should wait and save for it.

  • How did you get started?

  • I got started building interior cabin spaces in 30 foot boats at a local boat building facility in 1998.

    In 2001, I started an apprenticeship for a Nisswa, Minnesota builder. In my 10 years with the company, I built many large homes.

    In 2009, we won the MMBA best of show for homes valued at more than one million dollars.

    In 2011, I left my mentor to make a name for myself, thus obtaining my contractor's license and starting Birch Hollow Homes Inc. I am very competent and take pride in my work.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • Customers should always ask what types of products are going into their project. "Are these materials high quality or are they something that we will have to replace in a couple of years?"

    A professional will be licensed and insured, you should always ask to see this information and check up on it.

    One other item you want to ask about is their warranty, is it bare minimum or do they offer more?
