Questions and answers

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
  • We provide exceptional customer service. We can't stand bad customer service ourselves, so our philosophy is to go beyond your expectation with customer service, value and workmanship.

  • Tell us something customers may not know about you.
  • Jed has been a business owner since he was 18 years old and he is 37 now. He has also worked for the two largest home improvement companies in Sacramento to gain insight on how to take his business to the next level. He's completely dedicated to ensuring your family's swimming experience the best that you can have.

  • What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
    • UPA
    • CPO
    • Placer County Licensing

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
  • What are your rates?

    A. We bid each pool for service or repair after visiting with you and determining what your family's needs are. Every pool is different, so it's not wise (in our opinion) to just have blanket rates. That's just not good for the business.

    When can you get here?

    A. Normally we can meet with you the same day that you call. We leave time open each day just for this purpose.

Are you reliable, and can I trust you'll take good care of my pool?

    A. We'll let you know that we have huge goals for our business. These will never come to fruition if we don't provide exceptional customer service, value and workmanship.

We get compliments ALL the time about how happy our customers are with their pool. They say "My pool has never looked so good". They tell us their guests say the same thing and they reply, "Yeah I got a new pool guy!"

We work hard to make sure we keep getting comments like that, makes us satisfied.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
    • Are they licensed and insured?
    • What separates them from the other guys?
    • What do they specialize in?
    • How much experience do they have?

A lot of out of work construction workers have jumped into the industry because they had a pool in the backyard when they were a kid.

Do they service the pools themselves or will it be an employee?

Can they repair or refer a good contractor for any problems that will arise?

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
  • We converted a new customer's pool into a chlorine free pool, installed money saving variable speed pump and resealed their deck for them.

They are ecstatic about the mineral pool system they have and are saving 90% on their pumps energy costs; and being a PG & E customer that adds up!

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
  • Have us do an energy audit on your existing pump. You'll be shocked at the amount of money you can save and how quickly the saving will pay for a new variable speed pump system that can save you 90% on your pools usage.

Aside from your A.C. unit, your pool uses more electricity than your other appliances combined in many cases. A standard pump uses the equivalent of 17 100watt incandescent bulbs while it's running.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
  • We specialize in:

    • Chlorine Alternatives
    • Energy Free Pumps
    • Algae Prevention
    • Weekly Maintenance

In addition, we also do repairs of all types of filters, pumps and heaters as well as solar, tile, decking and sweeps.

  • What types of jobs are the most common?
    • Pump Repairs and Replacement
    • Pool Sweep Repair
    • Weekly Maintenance
    • Filter Repairs
    • Chlorine Free Conversions
    • Energy / Money Saving Pumps

  • How did you get started?
  • We are a family owned and operated business and the dad started way back in 1979. Jed used to ride with him during the summers. Then he started his own division of the business in 1995.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
  • There are so many new advancements available to folks with pools now. You can go chlorine free, and save a ton of money on the new pumps that are available. Your utility company even offers rebates to change them out.

We've had some people respond that they just changed the motor on their pump, but that's not the same. That's like putting a new motor in your car; it's still a gas hog not a hybrid or electric vehicle.

The payoff is fast compared to any other home improvement you can make. And it is not hocus pocus savings but legitimate savings.

  • What brands or products do you work with?
  • Every brand and every manufacturer.

We are California's distributors for two of the largest mineral pool conversion systems out there.
