  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • How long have you been in practice?

    What's your specialty, price and experience? What kinds of oils/gels and lotions are used? Do you use a professional table?

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

  • I usually give all my customers a bottled water, a piece of fresh fruit and also talk over stretching exercises to do between massages.

    I also advice my clients to take a multivitamin after their massage and drink lots of water to help flush the toxins and not feel like crap the next day.

  • How did you get started?

  • I saw my father massage and heal one of my relatives when I was 15 years old. I was so amazed at what the the human touch could do, the power of healing that is in the human touch.

    Touch is not something we need to learn; it is something we need to remember. The healing power of touch through the art of massage is one of the first healing therapies known to man. Before the advent of drugs, medicine consisted mainly of touch. The earliest tribal cultures throughout the world used touch to cure the sick. To the ancient Greek and Roman physicians, massage was one of the principal means of healing and relieving pain. The "laying on of hands" has been a primary form of healing throughout history. The father of medicine, Hippocrates, wrote, "Physicians must be experienced in many things, but assuredly in rubbing."

    I first met Chica when she started up her business here last year around August 2011 I believe. She was working off of a hospital bed as she had to sell her professional massage table when she left California to come here to care for her dad who at that time was sick. I just liked her straight off! What a fireball she is and just so pleasant. I call her magic hands now! Once you try her, you will come back for more. Thanks Chica for all you do and give! Oh and she has a nice professional massage table now!
