This is a random question because in my industry and just coming from me its about trust, honesty, knowledge, creativity and intuition that makes a company. Not paid affiliations or random certs
I can from a well respected family where I grow up. My father graduated from the big university close by and played football all four years as there middle linebacker. He there coached football at the big high school and won many championships and awards. My mom was the top cell phone sales rep for many years and was a spokes person for Stephen L. Covey.
There are all types of jobs available in Utah right now. In every industry things seen to be stronger then in the past years.
That is hard because most of our project prices on average start at $30, 000 to $150, 000 so we do about 1 million to 2 million depending on employee years.
What jobs I can see that you have done and compare my job with? What makes you different then others-I just show them
We are working on a $600, 000 residential job. It will have a double swimming pools, 70' water slide joining the two pools, 2 outdoor kitchens, huge waterfall that will be remote controlled for speed and it will be three phased, huge hammock, paver patios, multiple fire pits, and the list goes on and on...
I went on a 2 year church mission to South Africa. Then I came home and became an electrician. I was a journeyman electrician installing light poles in residential neighborhoods. We would tear up there landscaping, sprinklers and sod then I had to replace, fix and add to the landscaping. One day one thing led to another. But without the drive to make myself better I wouldn't be here.
When a customer gets a architect or designer and puts a design on paper it would give them an apples to apples bid comparison. Depending on the landscapers style, soil amendments to keep plants and trees alive, type of boulder colors, tree sizes and plants, edging and color, sod type and color, sprinkler set up....ect
A client will never get apples to apples pricing.
Do your homework on what you want. In every company we know how to save money or in other words cut corners. Be careful on the word save money.
If there licensed from the state of Utah...DOPL license verify, insured with a 2 million dollar policy and retain a copy,
Chris Jensen Landscaping provides a 2 year warranty on water fall equipment such as pumps, liner, sprinkler parts, manifolds, time clocks and wires.
First they need to ask questions...lol. A customer that doesn't ask questions at the beginning will be confused during and will not be happy later.
