About D1 Productions

D1 Productions is a DJ/entertainment company based out of Boston, Massachusetts, and owned by two students who attend Berklee College of Music (Matt Trawinski and Russell Kaplan).

We are a VERY unique business. We will travel ANYWHERE in New England and as far south as New York or New Jersey for all types of events (private parties, sweet 16s, weddings, fairs, mitzvahs, etc.).

We do our very best to offer VERY affordable rates, of course, depending on the type of celebration. We want to make every event we host memorable. That being said, we are very eager and willing to bend over backwards to make YOUR party the best we can make it!

We provide games and prizes, music of every genre (we welcome requests), diverse lighting, and even special effects machines!

  • Russell Kaplan had been DJing for seven years, when he met Matthew Trawinski at Berklee College of Music. They decided to collaborate and make a business called D1 Productions. Together they have done parties all through Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.
