About DJ Freight

My name is DJ Freight (Eric Hernandez), and I’m a Houston area mobile DJ. I charge $200 for the first 4 hours of DJ services. If you want a fancy light show with it, I charge 300 for the light show and DJ service.

I also have 2 large tents for outdoor events. They are 12x20 and together they take up 24x40. I charge an additional 100 for the tents, and I assemble and disassemble them myself.

You can contact me anytime, and I can always work out payment plans. Please try to book in advance, but for any last-minute parties, call me, and if I’m booked, I can always look for other DJs that may be able to help you all out.

I’ve been doing this for 5 years now, so I’m very experienced. I’ve done work for the south Houston fire department, the Gardens Hall, Perlas Negras Hall, Ashley’s Reception, Zermenos Plumbing, and plenty of barbeque cook-offs.

If you need any recommendations from any of these, just let me know. If you need me to set up earlier than the party starts, there is no extra charge. If you have an all-day big event, I can work out a single price instead of per hour.

My prices for the first 4 hours are as follows:

  • $200 – DJ
  • $300 – DJ and lights
  • $400 – DJ, lights and tents
  • $ 70 for every extra hour

Halls or salons are different price; please call for hall or salon price.

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

  • I can provide video footage and pictures of the party or event. I can also make mixes for certain events like weddings or quinceneria(15). I also provide receipts of every expense.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • I'm a Houston area DJ and i play all kids of music (rap,hip-hop,r&b,techno,dub-step,country,Tejano,rock,zydeco,oldies, etc) i have a very nice light show and if you want a video of the light show i can send you one via email. i have been doing this job for 5 years now

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

    • How many years of experience do you have?
    • Are you able to provide additional service like karaoke, video show, and light show?
    • Could you work out payment plans?
