About DJ Julicio

DeeJay Julicio first came into contact with turntables while attending high school in Cupertino, California, where he learned to DJ from his older sister’s friends.

When Julicio moved to Santiago de Chile from Cupertino in 1995, he began his career playing with Chilean super group Los Morton. Promoters later caught wind of the young talent and booked him weekly in many clubs. He would soon go on to play at more reputable clubs throughout Santiago.

After working with Los Morton, DJ Julicio started working with La Pozze Latina and Jimmy Fernandez as well as many other local talents. He traveled all over Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador with Zaturno Espacial (Live Band Hip-Hop).

DJ Julicio moved to San Francisco, California in November 2010 and has performed in many clubs in the Bay Area, including:

DJ Julicio was also a featured DJ at the Oakland Canabbis Cup 2011. During his stay in California, he has been lucky enough to open for many international artists, including:

DJ Julicio performed at the Art Basel 2011 in Miami Beach and at WMC Miami in March 2012 and was very well-received. Julicio was recently invited to perform at the 2012 DMC finals in San Francisco, and is currently residing in San Francisco where he continues to DJ and participate in new music projects with local San Francisco artists.
