DJ Lockdown specializes in class reunions, weddings, proms, birthday parties, and other special occasions that need a DJ. We are one of the most requested DJs in the area.

I am a very flexible DJ, and I play all types of genre. Most jobs are $50 per hour depending on time and location.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?

  • Every customer should know that when you hire a DJ it's more involved than just the 3-5 hrs or so that he/she spins.I don't believe that there are any DJ's that are truly professional and take pride in their work that just roll up to your event.There is preparation that takes place leading up to your event, cataloging the music that you've requested, scouting out your event venue, contacting some of your other event service providers, etc..., So be mindful of that when you receive a price quote for DJ services.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • Providing professional discjockey services and to make all events memorable. I offer mobile DJ/MC service. I've been spinning for 25 years. I am always on time, come as advertised, and leave your guests wanting more.

    Whether it's a birthday, family reunion, wedding, retirement, corporate event, house warming or grand opening, I'm there!

    I play 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and current hip-hop and R&B hits (clean radio edit). I also play smooth jazz, blues, and top 40 when requested.

  • How did you get started?

  • when i was 12 my dad heard me playing some of his records. He showed me the basics of blending music on turntables. Then i met a guy named Raymond and he took me to the next level. I started playing for parties at the age of 12.

  • Ask them if they can refer you to any past clients who can give them some real feedback on your services. Over 60% of my clients are repeat or word of mouth, because someone told them about me. Simply put " you just can't beat word of mouth advertising". Do you have any sample music that i can hear

  • What types of jobs are the most common?

  • Birthday parties, family reunions, and wedding receptions. I've done pretty much all types of events, but these are the most popular. Also class reunions.

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?

  • Do you have a website and do you have a sample of what you can do. Also any references or testimonials. Do you have a contract.
