• How did you get started?
A.

• I got started because RV repair has been in my family since I can remember. So I just followed in my dad's footsteps. I was the shop foreman for many years at a large dealership and decided working for someone else wasn't for me, and I wanted to offer a service that can compete with the large dealers at a lesser price. I have proven time and time again my labor is half the cost as a dealer and better workmanship, so it's a win-win for my customers!

• Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
A.

• Customer called me up really unhappy because he went to a large dealer, paid $8000 to have his roof replaced, and the dealer tore up his interior walls and his roof now bowed downward. So I gave him an estimate to completely remodel his whole interior; this customers RV was a 1976 so it had the rainbow-colored wall paper, real tacky looking stuff. So I gutted the whole inside, removed his roof, restructured his roof, installed new rubber membrane, installed all new ceiling/wall panels (white), and installed new lino and carpet. He came in when I had everything gutted, and he looked worried, but when he came in and seen the finished product, he praised me for my good work and couldn't believe I did all this for the same cost as he paid to the dealer when all they did was replace the roof.
