Questions and answers
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
I provide printing services such as but not limited to portrait prints, collage prints, wall canvas prints, invitations/announcements, guestbook/signature mats, albums, press printed albums, and thank you cards.
I also offer retouching of photos for special effects, backdrops, skin imperfections, etc.
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
I specialize in "natural light" photography. What does this mean? I do not use lamps or heavy lighting equipment unless it is absolutely necessary. While lighting is good, sunlight tends to bring out the best tones and colors of your skin, hair and eyes. As our name suggests I like to use the natural elements around you to give you fantastic portraits with unique and personalized looks to your photos that will let your personality shine!
While taking traditional wedding/event/portrait shots is essential, I like to add a little "pizzazz", if you will, to my sessions. Your wedding/event should be remembered with creative, edgy photos. If traditional "stand and smile" photos are all that you desire, I can do that. But I'd love to show off your personality with some additional shots that will really spice up your portraits!
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
How many hours of coverage will they get for their price?
Do they receive the images on a disk or print order option only?
Do you get a personalized password protected web album with your session?
How many years of experience do they have?
If the price seems a lot lower than everyone else, why? You do not want to sacrifice quality to save a few dollars. Some people claim to be professionals and are not.
Always look at a portfolio that way you know the photographer meets your needs and you like their style of shooting.
