About Ensign
My name is Gregory. I am a graphics designer who can do just about all that you need. If I cannot do it myself (some web stuff is still out of my personal reach), I know many who can, and I will direct you their way.
My favorite thing to see is when my customers see their new design work. They get an extra boost and become so confident again in their services because they realize that they now have something that represents them and their work properly.
I will send you a link to some of my portfolio work and be waiting to assist you in any way that I can.

Questions and answers
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
I offer many great package deals to complement any one type of design project. Say someone already has a logo for their company but they want a new tagline. I would perform the desired services and suggest that they try our package deals of brochures letterheads, flyers, business cards, social media design work (Facebook backdrops, Twitter backdrops, etc.) These offers are at a 25% discount to those who desire two or more of our package items. Package deals vary, depending on the intricacy of any given design project.
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
I specialize in flyers, signages, logos, business cards, stationery, smartphone icons, brochures, branding, etc.
- What types of jobs are the most common?
Fliers...Signage...Logos...Business Cards...Stationary...Smartphone Icons...Brochures... Branding etc...
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
First thing a customer should ask for is a portfolio or work of some sort to display to the customer that they are competent in producing a final product in the right format in a reasonable amount of time. Many people misinterpret certified college experience for proficiency and professionalism. But we must remember, this is graphic design, dealing with creative reasoning and the talent of art and talent is not something that can be taught. Talent or degree, another thing I would suggest to be asked. (Noting parenthetically that talent and experience is a must; hence the need of a portfolio.)
- What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
I would at least make certain your vision for your own field and if you have thoughts of any prospective customer markets and targeting. Many times, people end up just conceptualizing something without knowing that they are endeavoring into a business which involves other people who may want their product or service. Without a customer-based prospective, the design can miss the mark and even though it may please you visually, it is not what the customers are drawn to.
Have the right understanding of what attracts your potential customer base without completely evading your personal vision and be open to change it to learn what is best for your business' future.
- What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
How fun it is, from frame to finish, to help them build their future "ensign" or hallmark of identity in the competitive field. It is very fun.
- How did you get started?
I was learning how to develop databases under a personal tutor and as we neared the end of our projects, I noticed that the user interfaces that my tutor was always coming up with were a bit outdated and not very user-friendly.
I grew up drawing and doodling and was quite good with my creative reason conceptually and even with enough patience practically. So, I figured I would try to design the user interfaces for the databases quietly without my tutor looking, so that he wouldn't notice that I was spending time on design instead of the relational query structures (I still love database design and development, but my whole focus is design) He saw what I was doing one day and said, "Wow!" So he encouraged me to begin this journey instead and encouraged me, saying that I would be useful in many ways seeing that I knew quite a bit about design and database structure.
I began designing logos for mock businesses that I would dream up, and I realized that this was the business that I needed to get involved with since I loved it so much and was getting very good at it.
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
