About Every Day Cleaning

Every Day Cleaning has been doing residential cleaning for about 2 years now. I do general cleanings that include dusting, bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, etc.

I also do detail cleanings that include general cleaning plus baseboards, windows and sills, spot cleaning carpets, etc. There is so much more.

If you have any questions or would like to know if I would do a specific project that you have been wanting to get done, please do not hesitate to contact me and ask.

  • How did you get started?

  • I worked at a hotel in housekeeping. I had the idea of doing cleaning for myself, that way I can set my schedule and not spend so much time away from my family.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).

  • I have had a client that I clean for constantly tell me what a great job I did and how she loved coming home from work and not have to worry about cleaning.

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

  • I offer to come and clean for last-minute emergencies if I have availability. I'm always open to schedule changes.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

  • I would recommend that customers who are trying to save money, have an idea as to what the cleaning priority is. Let the cleaner know. Inform them that you only want them there for only a certain about of hours each time and that you want them to make sure they get those priorities done. If they have time for other areas, then they can work on that for the remainder of the time.

  • Tell us something customers may not know about you.

  • That I had tried doing a cleaning business once before and it caved in on me. 2nd time is a charm and things are great! I love cleaning!

  • How many projects do you average in a year?

  • I have about 13 clients that I clean for on a regular basis. Then I have a couple random clients who only need me to clean every once in a while.

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?

  • Do you bring your own supplies, or do I have to supply them. I tell that they I prefer to use their supplies, however, I do bring some with me in case, either they run out of something before I'm done with the job at hand or they don't want to supply the cleaning equipment. I do not travel with a vacuum or a toilet brush.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • How much experience do you have?

    Do you have references that I could look into?

    Do you bring your own supplies or do I need to supply them?

  • What brands or products do you work with?

  • I prefer to work with the products that the customer provides. However, if I use my supplies, I stick with the normal Lysol, Windex, Bleach, etc...

  • What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?

  • What you were looking at spending per visit. Make a list of priorities or the things that you want done each time. You can always add on more projects on the day of the cleaning.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?

  • That cleaning (certain areas) can take time. It does not all come clean instantly. I've noticed that things that require bleach, do not work right away. Sometimes it takes a little elbow grease and some time:)

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • I specialize in general cleaning and detailed cleaning. I also do a lot of special projects that take time to do.

  • What types of jobs are the most common?

  • General cleaning is the most common job that I run into. A lot of people want me to come and clean their house on a weekly basis and ask for deep cleaning when they have company showing up to their house soon.
