About First Choice RV and Auto Repairs

I am a full on RV service technician. I have 20 years of experience.

Except for fiberglassing and painting, I do it all, from roof leaks, plumbing, electrical (12 volt and 110), appliances, chassis work, generators, awnings, rubber roof replacements.

My rates are $55 per hour for small jobs and if a big job is needed like a rubber roof replacement, I will quote you one flat price.

I am available at all times and I usually don't turn any work away. Thank you for considering me for work. I really appreciate it. Contact me today!

Questions and answers

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
  • A customer should ask a question like, "How many years' experience as a RV service technician do you have?"

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
  • If a customer wants to save money, I recommend that he or she let me do the job or fix the problem, rather than taking their RV to a dealer to get the work done. I will definitely save the customer money!

  • Tell us something customers may not know about you.
  • Most customers don't know about how patient and understanding I am, because it's not that easy being "ME". Remember the customer is always right!

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
  • After the job is finished, I'll give the customer a courtesy follow-up call to make sure everything is ok, usually within 5-7 days.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?
  • I work year long, day in and day out, weekends also. I may do from 5 to 12 jobs a week. That could average out to 260 to well over 600 jobs a year

  • How did you get started?
  • I got started many moons ago as a trainee under this technician named Juan Vergar at Saddleback RV. I learned how to do PDI's from him, and what he taught me will definitely last a lifetime.

Also while working for Altmans Winnebago in Carson, my foreman (Russ Rader), one of the most knowledgeable persons in this business, kinda took me under his wing to teach me and to answer any questions i had. I was very lucky to work alongside these two technicians.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
  • I specialize in plumbing, electrical, appliances, and generators. Also, I do tune-ups, oil changes, no start conditions, and brakes on motorized and on trailers and 5th wheels.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
  • There is no special job that I am most proud of, because I am proud of all of them. When a customer says a simple "THANK YOU" I know that my time was well spent
