  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

  • When looking for a DJ the cheapest price is not always the best! You have to book with someone who you can depend on, and most likely that someone has a contract and charging a deposit. That is not only for his safety and guarantee of the event but yours as well. So when looking at price also look for professionalism, then ask for specials and discounts and ask what will be included.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • What type of equipment do you use?

    Do you charge for travel?

    Do you have lights?

    How big is your music base?

    Do you arrive early for setup time?

    Will he or she dress for the occasion?

    Can the mix or blend music on the fly or do they only have a play list?

    What type of microphones are used if they have any?

  • What types of jobs are the most common?

  • Weddings, teen/kid parties, family/class reunions, and birthday parties. These are the most common type of events that are requested. but we do any and every type

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?

  • Do you have the music we like to hear, old school, top 40, rock, pop, country, rap, hip hop, reggae, etc.? Yes, I do, and it is updated weekly

    Do you mix and blend music or do we hear the song end or pause before the next song? No, I make sure there is no pause or interruptions in the music. Continuous music means continuous party time.

    Will you stay over? Yes, I do, but I do charge for staying longer.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?

  • The equipment is not cheap. And it takes time and concentration to play music everyone wants to hear. You have to know how to read a crowd. And just because someone says they have a laptop and some speakers do not make them a DJ.

    DJ Hypnosis is the truth! He came to our house to do a free "consultation" where he brought in his equipment and gave us a full on sample of what to expect. I was having a 70's party and requested the music to be a mix of all the great 70's, 80's and 90's jams. He not only delivered but exceeded our expectations. The price was right on point, affordable and EVERYONE had a blast. At least 4 people that night got his info for their upcoming event from me. BOOK HIM NOW!

    Needed a DJ for my 7/7@7 wedding and DJ Hypnosis came highly recommended. His price was very reasonable, he was easy to work with and easily accessible.     I'm going to keep is simple. If your looking for a DJ, here's what you need to do. Delete any number you have, throw away all the business cards you have and then talk to Hypnosis. He is all you'll need. After talking to many DJs me and my wife decided to go with him and all I can say is we made a great decision. He's what you need- NUFF SAID!

    DJ Hypnosis was hired for my daughter's 12th birthday party and he did a phenomenal job! He interacted with the kids knew what to play to get them on the floor and was a DJ that I would definitely recommend and would definitely use again. Overall fantastic job - and his rates are the best I have seen!

    It was just a few days before my event and I was informed that a DJ had not been booked. I went to Craigslist and found 8 or 9 dj services. A couple of them were booked. The rest didn't even answer or call me right back. I scrolled through Craigslist one last time and noticed a DJ I had not called. When I called DJ HYPNOSIS immediately picked up. When I told him I was calling last minute and needed a DJ to work from 7:30am -4pm on Sunday this guy didn't flinch! He was extremely pleasant, accomadating, he text and emailed me a written confirmation like I asked , he was easy and great to work with and..........he rocks as a DJ!!!! He mixes on site, has kick butt equipment and was at the hotel at 6:30 (early) to set up!!!! You are crazy not to stop now and call him! Audience pleaser, kids loved him, great song selections....the best!! Will use him over and over and over. David Marion
