About Home Sewing

If you need something repaired or fixed; if you want curtains or pillows made; or hemming pants or skirts, contact me! I have been sewing for more than 20 years.

Some of my prices are: hemming for $2.00 per leg, pillows at $9.00 each.

  • How did you get started?

  • I starting sewing when i was i school and that was along time ago. I worked at a few sewing factory, also with a High End designer fabric company for almost 20 yrs.

  • What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?

  • I don't have any most of my work was self taught, or by my teacher in Juior High

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).

  • I have made three Quilts and I have done an entire home for a close friend that took awhile to do and i'm just waiting for her to get it all put up in her home and i will have pictures of that to post.

  • What brands or products do you work with?

  • I don't have any one that i use i mostly go by what my customers perfer. But if they want something special i will do my best to find it for them.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?

  • That depends on what it is for the most part i always have some sort of sewing project going. Just finished doing some work for a company up north making balls for babies.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • How long have they been doing this and do you have anyone we could ask about your work.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • Making curtains and pillows, I love making pretty things for the home. I love fixing things that need a special touch and by someone who will treat it like it my own.

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

  • If there is anything wrong with it and its not done to there liking i will fix it free of charge. I stand behind my work.
