About J and JJ Wedding
My name is Jessica Johnson. I offer wedding planning services. I serve Houston and surrounding areas.
I can also help with small events. However, I usually do events related to weddings. Examples are (bachelorette/bachelor parties and bridal showers).
I have been in the business professionally for one year now, but I have years of experience helping family and friends with event planning.
My company is unique because it is a true passion. I decided to go into business after planning my own wedding, and I loved the experience so much I never wanted to stop planning.

- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
I specialize in making sure that the day runs as smoothly as possible for the bride. I am very hands-on and was involved in every detail of planning my own wedding.
My job is to be there from day one to make sure each moment is executed just as the bride wishes!
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
The most important question to ask is if the planner gets kickbacks from using certain companies. Some planners may lead you to use a certain company which may not be the best.
Be specific on pricing upfront, and make sure you know exactly what you are getting for that cost.
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
I debrief my brides to make sure that the services were carried out as discussed. I also do follow-ups on photography and video services to ensure delivery of the jobs.
