- What types of jobs are the most common?
The most common types of jobs in the pool industry are anywhere from weekly maint., pool openings/closings, drain and cleaning, and pool paintings
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
In this industry, there are many different ways to help save the customer money. Anywhere from trying to fix what's broke instead of replacing it to helping them learn to do it themselves.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
What kind of certifications they have, years in the industry. It is also good to get a few references from their previous customers about their service.
- What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
CPO Certified, pool closing certified, with over 8 years of experience in the pool and spa industry. Have taken classes by Merlin industries for liner and safety cover installations
- What brands or products do you work with?
We work with mostly Hayward or pentair pump and filter systems. For liners and safety covers, we use Merlin industries.
- How did you get started?
Worked for a company for 8 years before starting my own pool and spa service and maintenance buiseness.
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
We at JD specialize in anything you need done to your pool or spa to make your backyard into your own vacation spot.
- How many projects do you average in a year?
We would average about 100 jobs a year, in all different areas of your pool and /or spa. Anywhere from a pool vaccuming to refinishing your pool.
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
After our company does service work at your house, we always follow up with at least a phone call to make sure you were completely satisfied with the service you received.

Nick from JD Pool and Spa is professional, honest and affordable. They washed, scrubbed, repaired and painted my old cement pool and brought it back to life just like it was when it was new! I cannot stress enough how great he was, and when he gave me my price he stuck to it! I am very impressed by this company and its owner and all the work they did. Thank you sir! My backyard is my vacation dream spot thanks to you and your employees!
