I am a freelance printing and graphic designer that has been in the business for 15 years. I do website design, graphic design, ranking, backlinking services and SEO.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).

  • I created, from scratch, a nice website for a local sod installation company called DC Sod. I even created all of the graphics myself with Photoshop and the like. Charlie was a real pleasure to work with, and we ended up with a great looking site.

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

  • I will typically work with my customers to resolve any issues, and do revisions to the supplied work until my customer is happy, within reason. By "within reason" I mean that a few revisions is typically ok, but when someone starts asking me to re-do the whole project, or to make 10 revisions, then it's like, well, I'm doing another project all over again. Let's plan things out from the beginning, that way minimal revisions are needed. My time is money, as I'm sure yours is too.

  • How did you get started?

  • I started by just messing around with some web design software, and building a few of my own mini-sites years ago. then word got out to some of my family and friends, and so I started doing some websites and business cards for them. I got pretty good at it, so I decided to take it to the next level.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?

  • I may be only one person, but the quality of my work is second to none. I will work with my customers until they are happy with the finished product, whatever that may be.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • JTS Printing specializes in business card design and printing, flyer design and printing, brochures, and most other advertisements. Customized t-shirts, buttons, pens and coffee mugs can be produced as well.

    We also do website design, online advertising and specialize in SEO (search engine optimization) and social marketing.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • How long have they been doing this type of business? Do you have any examples of work, or a portfolio? What other customers have you supplied with work?

  • What types of jobs are the most common?

  • The most common jobs that JTS Printing receives are for business cards, flyers, website design and SEO / social marketing services.

  • What brands or products do you work with?

  • I use Microsoft Frontpage for all of my web design stuff, and Adobe Photoshop for graphics and the like. For business cards, flyers and other ads, I like to use Adobe InDesign. I use GoDaddy for all of my hosting and domain registrar solutions.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?

  • Things have been a little slow for me, and I haven't been putting in quite the advertising that I need to be, but usually around 10-15 or so.
