About Knock-Knock Housekeeping
Knock-Knock Housekeeping is a full service cleaning company that go above and beyond the standard maintenance clean. We accommodate most anything that you request from laundry to dishes.
We schedule one time, weekly, bi-monthly and monthly cleanings, as well as move out and move in cleanings.
In addition to the standard full house clean, we also provide services that include, but are not limited to:
- Vacumming couches/chairs
- Dishes
- Hardwood floor cleaning
- Kitchen (inside/outside of appliances and refrigerator)
- Baseboard dusting
- Removing cobwebs
- Removing trash
- Changing/washing linens
- Laundry washing/folding/putting away

Its not very often that run across big organizing jobs, but recently got the chance to organize a 3 bay garage that was wall to wall boxes and stuff from a move 2 years earlier. I had a blast working with my clients purging and organizing into clear labeled totes. Helped build shelving and storage that moved everything up off the garage floor. Now they park 3 cars in the garage~
- What types of jobs are the most common?
Customized housekeeping is actually most common. It seems that many clients live in a home that they don't entirely use, so cleaning just parts of the used common space is actually most common:)
- What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
Know the square footage of your home, number of bedrooms, bathrooms and the number of levels to your house. Also know what things are extra special that you'd like done to make your experience personalized.

I honestly LOVE bleach. Although its not considered green, I like to use it because it actually CLEANS!

I strictly hire English only housekeepers. It is also very important to me that the woman I hire have chosen housekeeping because they LOVE IT! Not because its the last resort job opening.
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
Use cleaning companies that send one housekeeper and charge by the hour. If you have a budget ask to only spend that amount and customize your cleaning checklist.
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
I personally offer the clients the ability to pay by Credit card after they are able to check the quality of work.

- How did you get started?
I have always LOVED cleaning and organizing. When I was 12 I started cleaning for my neighbors instead of babysitting:) I used cleaning as a source of income in between jobs until 2007 when my dream of Full Service Housekeeping as a primary source of income became a reality! Everyday I go to work and know that I make a huge impact on my clients lives:) Gotta say its very rewarding to be part of so many families!

- What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
I would love it if clients knew that they should be direct when telling a housekeeper what they want. Its tough to be a mind reader, but we will always try!

I average 20 or so organizing only projects in a year. Clean in over 500 houses each year. Got projects for me?
