About Legacy Lawn, Landscape, & Contracting

We are a small business with the goal to give our customers the best quality work for a fair price.

We do everything from mowing lawns and trimming bushes to custom home remodeling and roofing. We have a lifetime of experience and knowledge to help customers make their home their dream.

We give free maintenance quotes and offer a wide variety of options that are easy on the customer and their wallets.

• Tell us something customers may not know about you.

• Legacy does volunteer work locally for The Outcast Bass Club of Hanover and Codorus State Park. We volunteer time and equipment to mow boat launches and clean up trash around the park. We love the outdoors and want to keep mother nature clear of our waste!

• What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
A.

• How much and how long are the two biggest questions we get. Answering those questions has to be done individually for each project.

• What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
A.

• How much attention goes into every project? Before we do any big project, there are hours upon hours of planning and prepping to ensure that everything goes smoothly throughout the whole process. All of our drawings, blueprints, and plans are done personally by hand.

• What brands or products do you work with?
A.

• In terms of materials,; we sit down with customers and go over with them all the pro's and con's of all the types of materials needed for their job and find the right stuff for them.

  We get our building materials from Lowe's Home Improvement Centers, Home Depot, 84 Lumber. We also use several local suppliers for the hardscaping and water scaping projects.

• What types of jobs are the most common?

• Landscapes; stone walls and small ponds and man made streams.

  Who would want a little babbling brook to a small pond oasis surrounded by beautiful plants with a small secluded area to sit and relax after a difficult day?

• Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
A.

• In the small town near my home, the township is running all new sewer lines that are completely destroying peoples lawns and gardens.

  We have restored several lawns back to a state that is better then before the digging started. My customers love their beautiful new lawns and I am proud we could help them get their lawn back to normal with minimal cost.

• What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?

• Know exactly want you want, or at least 90%. It will make the price quoting faster and more accurate. The more decisions you leave to any contractor the more it will end up costly, in the long run. Oftentimes, what the contractor thinks you want and what you really want are not exactly the same which requires much time and more materials to change.

• What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

• We follow up on all jobs to be sure the customer is satisfied. Free estimates for the next project for your home or yard, and free professional advise in person or over the phone.

• We have been working in this industry for over 20 years. We have a wellspring of knowledge and associations throughout the skilled trade world with pro's in every category. We are not directly affiliated with any other business at the present time.

• Get multiple quotes. Many businesses like this one give free estimates on most work. Getting more than one estimate or quote will ensure you that you are getting the best possible price for the best possible work.

• How did you get started?
A.

• After years of working in construction and landscaping, the owner - Justin Holewinski realized that too many companies were just out to make money and did not care about the customer themselves.

  He wanted to help people- with no six-figure yearly salary, achieve the home and yard of their dreams. This is why he began Legacy, using the money he had and started mowing lawns.

  The company has been growing ever since.

• We average one new project a week. It could be anything from a new maintenance contract to rebuilding a kitchen or bathroom.
