About Lilianna Zofia Wosko
My name is Lilianna Wosko and I have Masters in Music in Cello Performance from Roosevelt University Chicago College of Performance Arts Music Conservatory.
I come from a very diverse musical background with years of studying in Poland and then the United States.
Besides classical music, I have been playing rock, pop, hip hop, world and improvised music, which I believe helps not only broaden my repertoire but also to become a better musician, better teacher, and better performer.
My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that it is essential to develop student’s individual approach based on his/her learning ability, musical interest, personality, and age. I motivate my students to challenge themselves by encouraging them through positive work ethics to achieve their artistic goals.
I have 15 years of experience as a professional cello instructor and I have taught in community music schools, high schools, music stores, as well as private instructor.
I teach at home and offer teaching at student homes with flexible schedule.
I teach all ages and all levels of students, from absolute beginners to intermediate and advanced students.
