Questions and answers

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
  • LSI Handy Man would recommend calling Randy to set up an appointment. Why not save money and still get the quality of a high budget. It's a no-brainer.

  • Tell us something customers may not know about you.
  • We are all family oriented guys, all of us have girls under 11 years old. We work together and spend of hours together as well. Our wives are all strong women and are constantly analyzing our work and what we can do better, who better??

  • What brands or products do you work with?
  • We work with the best products we can get our hands on. Depending on the project, we will guide our clients through the process of shopping, educating them on different brands and there plus and minus. Bottom line, is WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS! This is a mainstay of 95% of this business, and we are here to change that stigma.

  • How did you get started?
  • This company got started by 3 great individuals who worked together for 20 years and became best friends. We know each other's families, friends and have great respect for one another. We are a team and we all have our specialties. This company is a product that was in the making for many years and has taken off like the space shuttle.

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
  • Can you come over tomorrow? Answer: YES!

Can you do the job tomorrow? Answer: YES!

Do you know how to 'fill in the blank'? Answer: YES!

I'm on a budget can you work with it? Answer: YES!

How do you like your steak? Answer: Medium rare!

We tell everyone but they don't believe it. Yes, most of our clients end up cooking for us, we can't quite answer why, we think it's because we are part of the family.

  • What types of jobs are the most common?
  • Common jobs for us is all over the ice. One day we will install a fence around your backyard, the next day we put up your baby gates and hang your big screens on the wall, later that day little Jimmy smashed his bat into the drywall, 10pm we get a call for a boiler not working and it's 15 degrees outside.

  • What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
  • Have you punch list ready! Especially with us. Our branding tagline is 'You will never have to look at the clock' that's because we charge a single flat rate fee each day. Go ahead and tell Randy when booking the free estimate the laundry list of things you need done. Randy sets up the estimate, usually the next morning and relay's everything you need done to John or Phil, this way they are ready to go straight to work after we hand you the estimate, which 98% of the time puts a smile on our clients face and we get to work. Avoid the 'we need pictures hung and doorknob tightened, unless it's an emergency, take a good look around your house and see what you need and let us know, we'll be ready.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
  • It's a dirty business, no pun intended. Frankly, we don't love most of the people in this business, most everyone looks at there 'customers' as marks and how much they can squeeze out of them. That is something we are working to change.

  • What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
  • We are Fixr approved, Service Magic approved and most importantly client approved.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?
  • We are all workaholics but that's because we love our jobs. We work everyday Monday through Saturday and sometimes Sunday's. Randy is in the office from 7:30am - 9:00 pm everyday. We usually do 1-2 jobs per day depending on how big or small and always fit in same day estimates after jobs are completed.

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
  • We follow up the following day with all our our clients. We make sure you are happy with the work we provided, which is 100% guaranteed. We are so serious about customer service that it is the center of our branding. This is a lost art that we bring to a business that is littered with 2nd rate companies and 3rd rate customer service. We strive to make our 'Clients' lasting friends and when new projects arise, we are the 1st call. And we don't use the term 'Customer' we use 'Client'. Customers are fly by night, in and out, will shop around, no real connections. Clients are smart, they know a good product when they see it, they appreciate 1st class service and most importantly a client is someone who we exclusively work for over many months or years, from 1st homes to your last home, we will be with you.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
  • We've done most jobs everyone could imagine. But I think I can speak for all of us. We met a great single Dad with a sweet 7 year old girl. He has been going through tough times but saw our ad online. His little angel had her bedroom window broken by a fallen branch. Taped up and cold, we took the glass out immediately and had our glass tech get up from his dinner table and met him at his shop and he made the a new glass pane up that night, within 3 hours we installed new glass into the window and there was no more draft. This little girl was so happy but not as happy as we were. We didn't charge a dime for that project. We're not trying to be saints, but this stands out for all of us and we talk about it frequently.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
  • 1. Ask us if we can accomplish your specific projects.

    2. Who we work with and ask for references.

    3. Do we have a website? And if so... does it give me the information I need?

    4. What is our availability?

    5. Do you give free estimates and complete work on same day if necessary?

    Note: Our answers are YES!

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
  • We are 3 partners with over 50 years experience in total. Each partner specializes in different departments, yet each of us has thousands of hours of home renovation experience, fixing everything from a faucet to your boiler. Master carpentry, electric, plumbing, painting and pretty much 99.9% of our clients needs are met with outstanding service.
