Hi! I am Mariah. I am 16, but I have a lot of experience in pet sitting, eldercare and housekeeping. I can work full-time or part-time. I'm also on call or temporary.

I would start going to school in September, and would only be able to work part-time once school starts.

Rates:

• Eldercare - $14 to $35/hour

Depends on the job, I'm available at different times, usually at any time. I may be available overnight as well, depending on the services needed. Short notice is mostly okay, too!

• What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
A.

• They should ask me about the hours I am available as they might change from time to time. If they have any questions or concerns about what I do, then they can go ahead and ask!

• What brands or products do you work with?
A.

• Any products that my customers would like me to work with. I am not allergic to anything so if they want me to use a specific product, I will.

• How did you get started?
A.

• I just decided that I would like to do something I'm passionate about, so I decided to come to fixr.com and see if I could pursue a career in this.

• Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
A.

• I had to help take care of my own grandfather because he had a disease that was slowly killing him. He would have bad nights, so I would help my grandma with many things. Part of my task was to help him onto and off of the commode (we had it by his bed). I had to keep him in bed as he was always trying to get out, and I kept him company.

• What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
A.

• I don't give any other services after the work has been finished. But, if they need any more help, I will come back at any time, even on short notice.

• What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
A.

• I specialize in everything that I have listed on my page. Most especially in pet sitting, as I have many pets of my own. I love housekeeping, so I'm good at that, too. I've had many experiences with elders, wherein I must take care of them.

• How many projects do you average in a year?
A.

• So far, I'm not sure about that. But in the past, I have done about 10 projects, or perhaps a little more than that, depending on the season.
