About Matthew Hintz Photography
Matthew Hintz is a Madison based, UW-Madison educated photographer. I specialize in wedding, editorial, portraiture, and travel photography. In my spare time, I work as a photo editor at The Badger Herald, the nation’s biggest student-run newspaper.
Pricing may vary slightly by event and location, but it usually runs from $1200 - $1400 for a full day’s worth of shooting and a disk of digital negatives. This includes the rights to reproduce them at your pleasure.
My approach to wedding photography is unconventional. I like to refer to it as “hands-off.” My background as a photojournalist has shown me that beautiful moments happen every day, all of the time, but only if you let them.
When shooting a wedding I make sure that the bride and groom feel at ease and that all the guests feel like they are in good hands. I step back and let the event happen naturally, while I run around like crazy making sure to capture every moment. The fruits of my unique approach are reflected in the stunning images you can see in my portfolio.

300-500 professionally edited images in the form of digital negatives. Also, the rights to reproduce and print these images as they choose.
