About MCO Environmental

MCO Environmental has evolved into a multifaceted, full-service company over the years.

As the market changed, and new needs arose, MCO diversified from its original construction, demolition and asbestos abatement functions to mold remediation, lead paint abatement, soil contamination, radon gas measurement and mitigation, emergency response and indoor air quality.

All environmental contracts are completed in-house. No subcontractors are involved. In 1998, it added landscaping, painting, waterproofing and repair work.

Even though new activities were incorporated, the firm continued to contract design-build projects.

MCO is a unique company. Even though it is small and family-operated, it is versatile and led by individuals who possess strong academic credentials in addition to practical experience.

The principals of the firm are committed to serving the needs of the clients and are always accessible. MCO strives to retain the small firm relationship combined with the technical expertise associated with larger, more impersonal companies.

For all your environmental service needs, trust only MCO!

MCO Environmental has safely and successfully carried out hundreds of demolition projects throughout its history. These have ranged from large to small scale projects including: massive, multi-story, multi-crane operations; elevated water tanks; interior demolition jobs; airplane hangars; elevated water towers; FAA control towers; waste treatment plants; single-story, freestanding structure; and smaller selective interior demolitions. Some of MCO's most prominent demo projects include the Lindsey Hopkins Building demolition in downtown Miami, the FAA old traffic control tower at Miami International Airport, Concourse C, and Concourse D demolitions in Miami International Airport, the Saxony Hotel and Resort interior demolition in Miami Beach, and the Carol City Water Tower demolition. MCO has the experience, expertise, equipment, and manpower necessary to complete any demolition on time.

The construction industry in general, and in South Florida in particular, is notorious for fraud and unprofessionalism. Before hiring any firm, please thoroughly research it to ensure that it is the right one for you.

MCO averages about 30 large projects a year. However, we may also perform anywhere between 80 to 120 smaller projects.

All environmental contracts are completed in-house. No subcontractors are involved. This ensures that the client pays a much lower premium.

The client must ensure that he or she has a comprehensive understanding of the proposed project. The objectives must be laid out in a clear fashion and it must be legally cleared.

Founded in 1988, MCO Environmental, Inc. has become the most trusted environmental construction company serving the South Florida area. We are a family-owned business and a certified Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise that seeks to address the need for environmental remediation in the South Florida area. MCO Environmental, Inc. has successfully completed projects throughout the State of Florida and overseas.
