About Melika Carr Photography
My name is Melika Carr and my specialties are still life/product, architecture, documentary, and portraiture. I am available for just about any photo project you might have in mind.
I also offer one-on-one photography classes for anyone interested in learning more about the art, or how to operate their camera.

Questions and answers
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
Each customer will have access to a private Zenfolio gallery with images from their shoot available. In this gallery, customers will be able to download their images and/order prints. If the customer wants a certain number of prints, I create a custom package (depending on their needs) so that the initial set of images can be purchased at a discounted price. I will keep the photos stored in this private gallery indefinitely for future download and/or purchase.
- What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
I have a BFA in Photography from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada. I believe that having a photography education has really helped me hone my skills. Having regular critiques of your work really forces an artist to constantly think about how they can make the work better and I think my education has been an invaluable experience.
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
My specialties are still life/product, archiving images, architecture, documentary, and portraiture. I also create custom photographic magnets for small businesses, non-profits, museums, and individuals to sell or give as a gift to customers to serve as a beautiful and unique advertising tool.
