About NeoBalloons

NeoBalloons provides experienced licensed balloon twisters who can also do face painting to delight guests of all ages. All our entertainers have at least 2 years of experience with balloon twisting.

We provide service throughout the San Joaquin Valley, Sacramento Valley and San Francisco Bay area.

We have delighted guests at events of all sized from private parties to Modesto International Festival to Ghirardelli Square Fleet Week Celebration.

Questions and answers

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

  • We are available for questions regarding the service. Additionally we provide a special pre-made balloon for the guest of honor with all 2 hr or longer bookings.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?

  • Not all balloon twisters are the same. The quality of the creation can vary greatly. Although our twisters can do the basic poodles and swords they also do more complex characters and animals to wow guests.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

  • We offer pre-made balloon packages. We deliver balloon creations for your guests plus a special pre-made balloon for the special guest. This enables you to delight the guests as soon as they arrive by handing out one of a kind creations. The cost is approximately 20-40% less than if we made the same items onsite for your event.

    We also offer balloon flower bouquets and creations which can be used as inexpensive decor and centerpieces or one of a kind hostess gifts.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).

  • We were hired for a Ghiradelli Square kid's event. The organizers liked our work and have hired us for three more events. Balloons we wowed with included princesses, sharks, dinosaurs and more.

  • What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?

  • Having an idea of the number of children will help the twister provide you with an estimate of the time required to ensure each child receives a balloon. The time and date of your event is also critical as often twisters have limited weekend availability due to prior reservations.

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • We specialize in balloon twisting to delight children of all ages from giraffes to mermaids, to toons, to octopi, and more!

  • How many projects do you average in a year?

  • We average over 200 events a year. Our busiest day is Saturday, although we provide services 7 days a week.

  • What brands or products do you work with?

  • We use all Qualatex environmentally friendly balloons. Our face paint is all FDA compliant Snazaroo brand.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • Find out if the professional is insured and licenses; also if you have an environmental inclination as about the balloons.

  • What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?

  • Corporate events we have done include Kaiser Permanente Family Picnic, Dublin School Carnival, Los Altos Village Association movie nights and eggstravaganza, and more.

  • NeoBalloons is a family owned business dedicated to customer service. We also teach a balloon twisting class in the summer for children through Modesto Junior College.

  • How did you get started?

  • As the child of a teacher it started as a fun way to give the kids a special treat for reading books or holidays. I find so much joy from the kid's smiles and adults look of amazement when they see simple balloons transform into animals and more. I took this joy and passion to constantly improve my balloon skills into a balloon twisting business.

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?

  • The most frequent question is how many hours should I book. A balloon twister can do approximately 10-15 complex balloon creations in an hour or 20-30 simple one to two balloon creations per hour. Children and adults typically want 2 creations so we recommend one hour for every 7-8 children expected.

  • What types of jobs are the most common?

  • Mermaids, princesses, and cartoon characters are our most common requests. However we have done all kinds of balloons including crazy hats and make-believe animals.
