About OH-NO!! Pest Control

We are a pest control service that offers professional exterminator assigned directly to each customer. Our customers will always see the same person every time they call us. This is great for our customers since they will get to know the person who comes in their homes well.

We also have the lowest rates, and we never try and sell our services if they are not needed. We want to put trust back into the relationship between pest control and the public.

  • What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

  • I offer an open line of communication, and i always guarantee my work, so if there is a need for extra service, there is no fee.

  • What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?

  • I hold an Illinois state license and a certificate from the university of Perdue.

  • What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

  • I would recommend calling other companies in this industry, get a feel for what kind of differant quotes they may get, then call me, Chris, from OH-NO!!! Pest Control. We put the (NO) in OH-NO!!

  • What areas of your trade do you specialize in?

  • I do inspections and exterminate for all general pest. I have work in this industry for over ten years starting from the bottom, and up. I've worked for the big named companies, and couldn't stand charging the public for services that would cost a fraction of what they charge. So i opened OH-NO!!! Pest Control.

  • What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?

  • I think to many companies are no being honest with there beloved customers. The bottom line is this. The bigger companies just want you to keep paying them. We want to rid of you pest and keep you bug free.

  • Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).

  • Well a friend of mine had a cockroach problem in his resturant and had a big named company servicing it. Well a long story, short. He cancelled service with them and hired me. In about two treatments, there were no more roaches.

  • Tell us something customers may not know about you.

  • Well most of my customers don't know that i have another career. I also work for Otis elevator. I have been shipping elevators for three years and its something i enjoy. Also people may not know i was once i highly decorated athlete, playing football for one of the nation best high schools and going on to playing four years of college ball. Football has taken me all over the world and has taught me some great values. One being teammate and leadership.

  • What types of jobs are the most common?

  • There are many common jobs, and most depend on the season. In the winter, rodents are always an issue. Spring bring ants and earwig. Summer you my have to deal with Bees and Wasps. But there are season long lasting insect like Bedbugs, roaches, and spiders.

  • What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?

  • Customers should always do as much investigating about the issue they are dealing with. This will help them when deciding to choose a professional for the job. Customers should arm them selfs with as much information about their issue so they don't get lied to or overpay. Like i stated before, pest control companies have a trend of hiking up rate because people do not know better.

  • What brands or products do you work with?

  • Max Force, Demon Max, Tempo SC, Victor,Delta Dust,Talstar One,Contrac Blox, Glue Boards,and then just tools, like my spray gun. My baiting gun and so on.

  • What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?

  • Well in most cases, the most common question is, can you get rid of this issue with one application. And if not how many will it take and most of all, how much will this cost? And those question all depend on what kind of insect your facing.But i can tell you this, if you hire someone to do pest control for you and they only spend a few minutes working on the situation, they will never get rid of them in one shot.

  • How many projects do you average in a year?

  • It changes from year to year, but i can give you and example, last year i had over 300 projects. This year i intend to raise that number.

  • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

  • Does this person have a Structural Pest Control license. Do they do an inspection before start of service. And lastly, do they guarantee their work.

  • How did you get started?

  • I started in this industry about ten years ago. For a small outfit. Then i grew into my own and work for a bigger company in the city of Chicago.
