I would recommend getting a good name brand digital thermostat installed. In addition to this getting your unit checked by a professional is the best way to save money. Did you know that having more refrigerant in your system is just as bad as not having enough. Getting your charge adjusted to factory specifications can lower your power bill and make your equipment last longer. Keeping your air filter clean is a way you can save money without having to call any one. An initial full system tune up which includes cleaning both coils and the blower wheel and adjusting the charge and inspecting and testing all electrical components and connections. We make sure that it is working like it should and then keep it that way.

How long is the repair going to last?nI tell them as long as we repair the problem and the cause of the problem if there was one , it should be ok for at least a few years. But I like to remind them that even new stuff breaks. nnAnother question is what brand is the best?nThe answer is that they are all the same as their guts, they differ in their shells.

How important that yearly service is. Getting your Central air conditioning system serviced once a year is very important. Without yearly service your unit is not going to last as long and major component failure is more likely. With yearly service you get the comfort of knowing that a trained professional is looking at the most expensive appliance in your house and making sure it is working like it should. With yearly service major breakdowns during extreme temperatures are less likely because we are performing tests on the system to make sure it is operating within specifications.

How long they have been doing this type of work?nDo they make an honest effort to repair the problem before condemning the unit?

Repairs that could have been avoided with yearly service are the most common repairs that we encounter. These can be any type of any variety of breakdown depending on the condition and level of neglect.

We follow-up within a few days to make sure that everything is still working like it should. We also offer in-between cleanings. I offer discounted service calls for service agreement customers. If we have to come back for any reason within 30 days there is not a service call fee for initial re-diagnosis.

First off why are you calling the air conditioner repair man in the first place. Is your unit not working at all or just not working quite like it used to? Are you wanting s check up service or is it a break down repair call.
