About Playful Pawz Home Visit Pet Care

Playful Pawz will be on a break until the middle of July for maternity leave. But will be up and ready to go beginning July 15th. We will then be looking for new clients who are in need of regular pet-sitting. We are now focusing the business around doggies and kitties who need care on a workday basis. Whether it be daily dog walks, or just a quick trip to the backyard for a potty break and then some indoor snuggles.

Are you looking for somebody to help burn off some of your pets excessive energy while you are at work all day? Pet-sitting has become a great option to consider when you are just too busy. It gives you the peace of mind knowing that your loved ones are receiving quality one on one attention in the comfort of their own home, with the added convenience of not having to transport them to and from a daycare or boarding kennel.

Playful Pawz offers visits in your home to suit your needs, whether you have a rambunctious pup who needs daily dog walks, or a cat who just needs to be fed and given lots of cuddles. I offer up to 3 visits a day in your home and rates are very reasonable starting at $12.00.

I have over 4 years of experience as a pet-sitter in addition to working at several dog daycares, the humane society, and a veterinary clinic, and I also have 2 cats and a dog of my own. Playful Pawz is fully licensed and insured, and will make sure your pets are being cared for in the best possible way. • What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

• Most of my clients ask me how long I have been in business. But nobody ever asks: Do you have any pets and what kind. If I were going to hire somebody to take care of my pets, I would want to know if they had any animals or if they have had any prior experience working with animals. When you get somebody talking about their pets, you can get more of a feel for how much they love animals and what kind of person they are. The best thing to do is ask as many questions as you have. Don't be afraid. A person who is going to take good care of your pets should never have anything to hide and will feel confident answering the questions.

• The most frequent question I get from customers is how long have you been a pet-sitter?

  I have been doing pet-sitting for 4 years now and I truly love every aspect of the job! Every day is different. I get to meet new people, and visit a wide range of pets who are always so happy to see me because they know my visits mean a walk or some snuggles, or DINNER!

  Another question I receive is: Is this actually your full time job or do you just use this as a fill in for a little extra money?

  Yes this is my full time job! I don't have any other obligations to another workplace so it enables to me to be very focused on the care of all of my clients, humans and pets, and it also allows me to be very flexible with my visits. If you need me to do a visit at 12:14 then we can make that work:)

• What would you recommend customers looking to save money?

• Playful Pawz is great for all people looking for quality pet-care, but can especailly save money for those families with multiple pets. Instead of charging per pet like most boarding facilties and daycares do, our visits are one fee for all of your pets. An average cost to have 2 dogs boarded in a kennel would cost around $50-$60 or more. With Playful Pawz you can have your two dogs stay in the comfort of their own home with 3 half an hour visits a day for $40.00! Add a cat to the mix, which may bump up the visit times to three 40 minute visits and its only $45 per day!
