I am a certified reading specialist (K-12) and elementary (K-6) teacher. I am E.S.O.L. (English to Speakers of Other Languages) endorsed, have 5 ½ years of teaching experience, and was awarded "Teacher of the Year" for the 2010-2011 school year. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education and my Masters Degree is in Reading Education. I am energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with students of all backgrounds and needs.

What to expect:

  • Copy of resume, as well as references, and letters of recommendation upon request
  • An evaluation of the child's strengths and needs, along with a customized education plan and academic goals
  • Pre and Post test data for reading
  • Session progress report left after each tutoring session explaining what was accomplished
  • Student has access to an array of resources, manipulatives, and assessment tools

Pricing:

$35 - 1 hr. per week at Garden's Library

$30 - more than 1 hr. per week at Garden's Library
