Questions and answers
- Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
A customer brought me a phone that they decided to fix themselves, and they ripped the battery connector off of the logic board, making it almost impossible to repair.
I took a look at the phone, worked my magic, and was able to bring the phone back into working order.
- Tell us something customers may not know about you.
Although some of my prices might seem a little high, you can be confident that the parts I use are of the highest quality and that you won't be let down.
The reason is that the higher the quality of parts I buy, the more expensive they are.
Other repair guys buy cheap screens from China to save themselves money and you are the one who ends up dissatisfied and with a defective phone; in contrast, my goal is to keep my customers satisfied!
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
I specialize in cracked iPhone screen repair.
- What types of jobs are the most common?
The most common jobs I get are cracked screen replacements, but I do everything from cleaning dust under the screen to reviving water damaged phones that don't turn on!
- What brands or products do you work with?
I work with all original Apple parts.
- How did you get started?
I cracked my own iPhone screen and instead of going to Apple to get it fixed for $200, I decided to try it out for myself.
I did very plenty of research before I started and was very careful.
I enjoyed doing it, and everything turned out great.
I then told my friends about it and fixed many of their phones as well.
Then, I realized that I could make a business out of this work so I bought all the necessary parts and tools, and posted ads on Craigslist to get customers!
