Questions and answers
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
We provide all of our customers a one-year warranty on all repairs and a letter of satisfaction for all work completed. We are always available to answer any questions our clients may have after we have completed their restoration work. Our work may be finished, but we continue to have an open line of communication with all of our past clients.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
Check with your local Better Business Bureau and local trade associations about the contractors you are looking to hire. Also, make sure that they are a licensed residential contractor equipped with the necessary state certifications as well as insurance that covers personal liability, worker's compensation, and property damage. Working with a damage restoration company that does not carry insurance will make the property owner liable for any injuries or damages that occur during the restoration project.
- What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
Insurance policy documents and claim number is applicable.
- What types of jobs are the most common?
Fire damage including smoke and odor problems; water damage caused by ice dams, leaks in roofs, and sump pump backups; and mold damage that is often caused by previous water damage claims.
- What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
Rapid Recovery Service currently holds certifications from:
Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IIRCR)
National Association of Mold Professionals (NAMP)
EPA Lead
MDCH Lead Abatement Contractor
State of Michigan Residential's Builder License
