About Rebecca Lynn Photography
Rebecca Lynn Photography is a small business focusing on newborns, maternity, children, families, seniors and weddings.

I focus on quality over quantity, and build strong relationships with families. I shoot with all natural light, in my home or yours as well as outdoor locations, primarily weather permitting.
By booking your special and important day with me, I will capture the memories that will last a lifetime.
Questions and answers
- What areas of your trade do you specialize in?
Rebecca Lynn Photography specializes in newborns, maternity, family, children, weddings and more.. I am a free lance photographer that has my camera with me everywhere I go, you never know what moment you may miss without it.
- What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
I recommend staying away from my Ala' Carte pricing and purchase packages instead, they offer saving in themselves. Some clients prefer just a few images, and others prefer a lot. With package pricing, however large the bulk is, is offers a punch of good rewards versus your standard Ala' Carte.
- What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
I'm a member of numerous affiliations, such as MAC cosmetics, Model Mayhem, WIX team, MF Magazine out of Portland Oregon, as well as personal achievements that aren't listed here.
- What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
I recommend to anyone to do research research research and practice! If photography is something you want to do, as a hobby or as a career, get a camera, borrow one, take classes, network with people, and don't stop! Photography is an art, and you will get out of your passion what you put into it.
- How many projects do you average in a year?
I do approximately 10 projects per week, so an average of around 50 per year. I take on a lot of small photography projects as well as larger ones such as Weddings, Engagements, Seniors and so forth. As well as a lot of little fresh babies waiting to come into this world.
- What types of jobs are the most common?
The most common jobs are Weddings, and Senior portraits. There is essentially always a high demand for these jobs as well as newborns, our world continues to turn with babies!
- What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
I would have to say that the most frequently asked question my customers ask me is "What are your prices?" I always let my clients know that I am flexible when it comes to pricing. I do understand that our economy effects individuals in a different way, so I adapt to make it work for you, after all, youare the reason I'm even writing this.
- How did you get started?
I began my interest/passion for photography when I was 12 years old, creating backdrops with my bed sheets, makeup from my moms bedroom, and clothing from any store we had money to buy it from. I soon graduated and found myself exploring the outdoors as well as a real interest with Photoshop and other editing tools that would help me along the way. In 2005 I purchased my first DSLR Camera, and I've been shooting and learning ever since.
- What brands or products do you work with?
I work with Nikon primarily, it has been very trustworthy to me and I just haven't really ever had a desire to make that "switch" as some photographers can easily do.
I also enjoy Alien Bee's for controlled lighting situations, they have very good quality, at very affordable prices.
- Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
I recently had the most humbling opportunity to photograph a live birth (c-section), and this is not a normal scope of practice for me to become a quite literal " On call " photographer, however, receiving that 2am phone call was the most memorable moments in my career working with newborns. To have the opportunity to capture that life, that first breath, and then to be able to present these images to the client after all they couldn't see, but I could, was priceless. I hope to have many more rewarding projects like these.
- What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
I provide my customers with continuing customer service well after the product has been produced. An example would be, a personal online photo gallery for up to 6 months post wedding or engagement so they have that access to their images, whenever they should need them. I offer support and guidance to all models that I work with to help them continue on to reach the goals that they have set in place for themselves. We also create appointments months out, for newborns and children to ensure that we don't miss that special birthday.
- Tell us something customers may not know about you.
A lot of my customers/clients may not know that I am a mother of 2 beautiful boys and a wife to a wonderful husband. A daughter to two of my biggest fans and people I look up to, a sister to 3 older brothers as well as to one younger sister. I love God and I work each day for him.
- What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
I really wish more customer knew more about ME and who I am and what I stand for behind the camera. I am not just a photographer looking to make money, this is my PASSION, it's my Profession and it is goal I have striven for, for over 10 years. My deepest desires is that my clients are Satisfied, and if they are not I do whatever I can do make sure that happens.
- What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
A customer should ask what my vision is, as well as my pricing to make sure that we can both work together with the same ideas in mind as well as comfortable pricing to go along with the whole package.
