About Resolve IT

For more than 15 years, I have been in the IT industry, small to big companies and delivering IT services to corporate and home environments.

I am capable of getting AV equipment and desktop and laptop and their parts at wholesale costs and pass the savings on to my customers.

I can also provide custom-built computers with installed operating systems and automatic updates for your convenience.

I can also upgrade or add wireless adapters or routers and hook up to a television if it is compatible.

I also provide AV equipment troubleshooting and installation.

My rate is from $60 to $75 per hour. I have available references to provide upon request.

• How many projects do you average in a year?
A.

• I most often have anywhere from 50 - 75 projects every year depending on how often and how large. As I am a one person business it may not be a lot of jobs but I make sure to support those jobs after the install and maintain as well.

• I'm 34 years old.

• How did you get started?
A.

• I started out in my parents study with a Windows 95 machine and have been working on computers since then. I have also been into car audio, and also home audio for many years and had a great time making this that look and sounds amazing.

• I have been in the IT business for over 15 years and have worked for Small to Large Companies providing IT support for Residents and Corporate environments.

  I am able to get Audio/Video Equipment at wholesale prices and pass that savings on to you as well as similar savings on computer parts.

  I also can provide laptops and netbooks at very competitive priceing as well.

  Custom Built Computer with Operating system installed all automatic updates installed ready to go when delivered

  I can also add or upgrade wireless routers or adapters depending on location of new custom built pc and also will hook up to tv if tv is compatible

  I also provide Audio/Video Equipment installation and troubleshooting

• What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?

• I keep up with the services that I offer which include:

  Maintenance on built computers

  Upgrades to memory and or new equipment

  Scan PCs on a regular basis to remove any viruses, etc.

  Keep up with warranties on hardware so that if damage occurs then we can have it taken care of with little to no charge.

• Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
A.

• I had a job that was for a client that required me to install 10 ceiling speakers and multiple amplifiers into his house. This required me to cut holes and wire the complete living room and upstairs for sound. I also assisted him in installing outdoor patio speakers as well. I went over how to work all the devices and how to load the units and allow them to go without damage.

• What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
A.

• That is the beauty of having the skills to help others get what they want. I dont wish my customers to know but I do make sure they understand what they are purchasing so that they can get their money and usage out of the equipemnt.

• What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
A.

• Make sure that they are familiar with the job that you want them to do! Also ask for an estimate and/or quote so that you know what you are going to pay at least what the estimate will be for the job. You will get better service if you invest in a private business and not a chain or franchise as they are more focused on customer support and keeping their clients for the long-term.

• What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
A.

• Depending on the job:

  Vizio is a great brand name TV and has great functions for a medium to higher end unit.

  Acer is a great brand of computer and it will cost you about half as much as higher brand name units.

  I also custom build machines that will even save you more money and give you better performance.

• What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
A.

• Do research on what type of computer and or audio set up you wish to install or have created.

  There is a lot of information on the internet and you can search using very few words.

• What certifications or professional affiliations do you have?
A.

• I have learned all of my trade by being hands on I have gone through A++ certification and training courses for IT but most of my knowledge has been from on the job and finding solutions via hands on troubleshooting.

• I never know I am always looking for questions from my clients as that is how we make sure that the job is correct and how the client wants it complete.
