How Long Do You Usually Take?
Most plumbing contractors charge by the hour, so you wouldn't want to hire someone who takes more time than necessary to do a job. Do your research so that you will be more informed about how long a project should take. While you may know the details of what exactly needs to be repaired, you will get a general idea of how long the project should take.
What If You Cannot Fix My Plumbing?
Many contractors will call in a more seasoned plumbing contractor if he or she cannot fix the problem. You should not be charged extra for this service. If the more seasoned plumber still cannot fix your problem, ask if they would be willing to reduce the hourly rate that you have been charged since the problem has not been solved.
