• We offer a 1-year warranty on all roof repairs should a roof need repair. Additionally, we send a follow up email thanking them for their business and the trust they have placed in us.

  We are always available to answer any questions they may have. We can also extend their workmanship warranty.

• What do you wish customers knew about your profession or trade?
A.

• 1.You should do a roof inspection at least once a year or after a major storm. If the house is beyond 7 years then twice a year is recommended.

  2. Be careful when choosing satellite dish company. Often they will damage the roof due to improper installation and can offer break roof tiles due to improper walking on the roof.

  2. Age of the roof

  3. Previous Work.

  The client should be aware of any previous work on the roof.

  4. The client should be aware of the interior condition and what may be over the problem area.

• What would you recommend customers looking to save money?
A.

• Roof Rx recommends a roof inspection twice a year of after a major storm. Roof maintenance needs to be performed from time to time as the roof ages and parts of the roof become worn down due to heat, wind, rain, insects, and sometimes even animals on the roof.

  An annual roof inspection will catch problems before they begin and maximize the intended lifespan of the roof. The type of roof matters greatly as some roofs are more maintenance intensive.

  We recommend that the homeowner be aware of the roof's current age so that they realistic expectations as to its longevity.

• What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?

• The roofer should be licensed and insured with the California State Contractor's board. Ask for their license no. You may also find it on their vehicle. Additionally, its not unreasonable to ask how long they have been repairing roofs or how long they have been in business. Common sense questions is really whats recommended. This is your home and you feel comfortable and NOT pressured.
