About Sagner Studios

I specialize in photography; from weddings and senior portraits to newborn and family portraits. I specialize in using natural lighting and outdoor scenery.

I am very reasonably priced and work exclusively with digital images. This allows me to give all of the images to my clients in a compact form.

Both edited and non-edited images are yours to use as you wish.

• Tell us about the project or job that you are most proud of (in the last 12 months).
A.

• In the last 12 months I did a scenery shoot that I walked about 8 miles of the Clackamas river and captured images of wild life and scenery. It was a very rewarding and exciting adventure. It helped me to really appreciate all that God has given us to enjoy. The natural construction of river banks and contours of the landscape are perfect in their natural un-landscaped form.

• What types of jobs are the most common?
A.

• Weddings and new born photos seem to be the most common types of gigs I get. Maybe because those are the types of photography I find most rewarding.

• What services do you provide your customers after the work has finished?
A.

• Customer service is the most important thing to me. Follow up is crucial. My services never end. After you receive your photos I will be here to continue editing and do prints for you as you need them. I also can do some fun canvases for larger prints. It is my goal to be your photographer for life. I want to do your new born pics and family photos when it is time.

• How did you get started?
A.

• When I was younger I fell in love with photography and did it as a hobby for years. I had multiple people telling me I needed to sell my prints. With my commitment to customer service it was a no-brainer that this is what I had to do.

• What information do you recommend to have readily available before looking for a professional in your trade?
A.

• Location and time frames is very important. Because I stay busy having these things available will help me to ensure that I can be available for your event date.

• What are the most frequent questions you get from customers? What are the answers?
A.

• Do you charge for prints?

  Answer: I do charge for prints but you do not have to order them from me. I will give all of the photos to you on a flash drive so that you can print photos whenever you like. This gives you the power to have control over your images.

  Does your rate have a time limit?

  Answer: In most cases I allot for 5 hours of shooting for weddings. With that said if things are running behind I am not going to leave the wedding on the second. Capturing all of the moments is the most important part of what I do. I don't charge if it goes over but tips are always accepted.

• How many projects do you average in a year?
A.

• I like to stay busy. I prefer to have work every week. This is the biggest reason I keep my rates down. I enjoy my work so much and staying busy is what keeps my smiling.

• What questions should a customer ask before hiring a professional in your trade?
A.

• The most important part about hiring a photographer is chemistry. Knowing that you can communicate with your photographer is the most important thing. Your emotion WILL come through in you photos and if you are frustrated or rushed the photos will not capture what you are looking for.
