Services

At Scott Plante Construction, we like to focus mostly on exterior renovations such as roofing and siding but have extensive experience in all aspects of residential construction and renovations. I am certified under Certainteed as a Master Shingle Applicator Wizard and make sure to present and actively working on every job I acquire.

Brands

I work with all brands of products because I believe that some are better for certain things and some are better for others. Take roofing shingles for instance. I think the lower level architectural shingles GAF Lifetime architecturals are better than the Certainteed competition to that but as for designer shingles such as Carriage Town, Hatteras etc Certainteed is a much better brand.

For me roofing, siding and custom metal work tends to come my way more often than the rest of the services I offer.

A customer should do a good amount of research about the renovation they are wanting to have done. This way they are able to fluently talk with a contractor about the work they going to pay to have done and be able to spot someone faking it to make fast cash. If a contractor is confident in the work he does and has the knowledge to communicate with you about your project, you will feel more comfortable about having that company perform work on your home.

I try to average about 30 mid sized jobs, 10 large residential jobs and several minor jobs such as repairs to fill in spaces between jobs.

That I was raised by a woman so I aquired her heart and genuinely care about my customers and will go above and beyond standard business practices to make sure they get the absolute best. Getting something done on your home can be a nerving thing. You want to know that the contractor you hire wants to help you protect your investment and not do a half ass job that ends up costing way more money for them in the end.

I started doing construction clean up when I was 13 years old. Steadily through hard work, focus and dedication I made my way through ranks of several different fields of residential construction and renovation. I created my business from the ground up, purchasing one tool at a time with the little money I would manage to save or had left over from each weeks paycheck. Through time I managed to build a strong, well functioning, credible business.

To ask a for a professional opinion of the problem that they are having. Once they figure it out they can then ask that trusted contractor to work inside a budget that they have set and if it will be enough to at least fix the problem at hand until they are capable of coming up with more moneu. Other ways to save money is to choose contractors that give detailed material lists so they can monitor what is used and offer to work something out wit the contractor for any extras or return them if that is available at the supply place you ordered from

I am most proud of a standing seam metal roof that I did in Sunapee, NH. Its was a 40 square designer barn that was built from the old boards from the historic barn they tore down and the rest from trees that where taken down on the property. I can't explain the beauty of this barn but if you go to www.facebook.com/scottplanteconstruction you can at least see a few of the roof pictures to get an idea.

I offer a 3 and 5 year workmanship warranty to all my customers. The length of the warranty depends on the quality of the product used and the condition of which the new product is built upon. I also keep in contact with all of my customers by call backs to assure that my customers have remained happy with the product I have given to them.
